https://www.revistaanfibios.org/ojs/index.php/afb/article/view/168

This article analyzes the factors that most significantly influence the performance of construction projects, identifying the most critical ones and grouping them according to project performance or success indicators. A systematic review was conducted, examining the factors and identifying performance indicators through the Relative Importance Index (RII) across different case studies. For this purpose, a literature review was carried out, covering the period from 2015 to 2025, using databases such as ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, Scopus, and Elicit. Out of 10,823 articles found, 10 were selected for further analysis. The results indicate that “price escalation” and design changes, with RII values of 0.889 and 0.883, respectively, are the most critical factors, grouped under the cost indicator, which is the second most significant performance indicator with an RII of 0.9. The top performance indicator is time, with an RII of 0.925, and the factor that most affects it is poor planning, with an RII of 8.874. The study concludes that the factors identified as decisive should be managed as soon as they arise to prevent negative repercussions on construction projects.
José Morelos-GómezOscar F. https://www.revistaanfibios.org/ojs/index.php/afb/article/view/170

The article examines the interaction between scientific theories of management and gastronomy, identifying five common key factors: innovation, sustainability, customer experience, knowledge management, and cultural adaptation. These factors served as the foundation for designing an integrated model, evaluated through a qualitative-quantitative methodology involving theoretical analysis and structural equations. The research, conducted in Cartagena (Colombia) with a sample of 120 chefs, provides a robust methodological framework for understanding and applying management strategies in the gastronomic sector. The results validate the applicability of the model in local contexts, highlighting its contribution to the sector's sustainability. Future studies should expand the geographical scope and explore new constructs such as digitalization, further consolidating the model across various industries and cultural contexts.
Javier A. https://www.revistaanfibios.org/ojs/index.php/afb/article/view/171

A reflection was carried out to analyze key factors in innovation management that contribute to business growth in the manufacturing industry in Colombia. For this, a documentary review was carried out with an analytical and descriptive approach where the business creation in Colombia was first analyzed based on the information provided by the country's network of chambers of commerce for the first half of 2024 using the Single Business and Social Registry report as a source of statistics. Showing that in this period 174,770 companies were created with an increase in small and large companies of 1.4% and 100% respectively. The growth of manufacturing industries by 0.3% compared to the same period in 2023 was also highlighted. To know the state of organizational growth in the country in the industry of interest, the last 5 bulletins of the annual manufacturing survey issued by DANE from 2018-2022 were analyzed, in which an increase in gross production was observed year after year, ending at 429.9 billion pesos in the last year. According to the Global Innovation Index in Latin America, Colombia is in third place, among the key factors that drive innovation in the industry, internal factors such as human capital and internal R&D were highlighted. Among the external factors, the participation of the state, involvement of universities, collaboration with other companies, among others, stood out. Finally, it was concluded that regardless of the type of industries, innovation is a driving factor of organizational growth through which companies develop new products, services, optimize their processes and create strategies that help them to be competitive and sustainable
Adriana M. https://www.revistaanfibios.org/ojs/index.php/afb/article/view/173

Nowadays, where the corporate landscape is marked by high complexity and constant evolution, companies are exposed to increased financial uncertainty that can affect their long-term development and stability. Given this challenge, this article proposes to explore how the integration of forward-looking analytics into financial risk management can improve companies' abilities to predict and manage the probability of financial losses from both internal and external factors. In order to do so, qualitative methodologies were used with an exploratory and descriptive approach based on documentary research of related theories that address this rela-tionship. The findings indicate that incorporating foresight techniques allows organizations to not only react to past or present events, but to anticipate future scenarios and design effective strategies to mitigate emerging risks. This approach goes beyond the limitations of traditional methods that rely solely on historical data to strengthen decision making and the efficient allocation of financial resources. In short, the link between forward-looking analysis and financial risk management is an essential strategic tool as it enables companies not only to adapt to market uncertainty, but also to improve their resilience and ensure the confidence of investors and other key stakeholders in an increasingly challenging global economic environment.
Carolina A. https://www.revistaanfibios.org/ojs/index.php/afb/article/view/174

Some people might think that artificial intelligence (AI) is something new, but it has been around for many decades and has been constantly evolving. The era of AI began in 1956 at a conference at Dartmouth, where scientists introduced the term. They defined AI as the creation of intelligent machines and computational programs. Although advances were expected, they began in the 1990s and 2000s, when companies began investing in intelligent systems to improve data management. The research included a review of sources on AI and its application in organizational security, seeking information on how it is used to prevent risks and cyberattacks. It highlighted an evolution in the definitions of AI, reflecting an advance in its development and recognition in different areas.
Marian Hoyos-Pimienta

The objective of this article is to carry out an analysis of the impact that cybersecurity has on sustainable development and professional ethics. For this purpose, a search, compilation and analysis of information on each topic and the relationship that exists between them was carried out. An exhaustive review of the literature was carried out in various databases such as Scielo, Redalyc and Google Academic, which allowed the compilation of different articles, degree works, government reports, documents from international organizations, blogs, official pages, making it possible to document the implementation of strategies and their results in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It was also evident that, with the arrival of industry 5.0, it is associated with improvements in efficiency, quality and sustainability, but it also poses new challenges in cybersecurity due to the large amount of sensitive data involved. highlighting the importance of cybersecurity in a highly connected society and mentioning the ethical regulations that currently exist in these fields. In addition, it was possible to analyze that the United Nations (SDG) are presented as a framework to address global problems, and the interconnection between these objectives is emphasized. UNESCO recognizes the importance of engineers and the fundamental role they play in achieving these goals by proposing solutions to the SDGs such as access to clean water, sustainable energy and sustainable cities.
